NAVU was built right here in Montana by a mother​ and daughter. It all started on a road trip where we spent the day driving through local towns but had a really tough time actually finding local shops or events to stop at. Everything online kept pointing us toward the same big chains and sponsored results. We looked at each other and thought, "Wouldn't it be amazing if there was an app dedicated entirely to local?"

So, we built one, starting with our home state of Montana! We designed NAVU to keep everything local organized in one place, rather than having it scattered across so many different platforms. When someone opens NAVU, they are truly looking to discover and support local businesses, events, and products. We created this out of our own passion as consumers who want to change how we stay connected to the amazing communities right around us.
